Stars of the Garden

Stars of the Garden

This week we thought we'd give you a little break from construction news at The Cedars Ranch, and head over to our flower garden for a little rest and inspiration!

From the rear of the great hall, we view the enclosed flower garden nearby …

Even though we are in the height of a scorching Texan Summer, our garden is flourishing thanks to our focus on native and drought tolerant species. Here we peek through the fence to our little garden haven within!

Without doubt, the star of our garden right now is this big bright red "Texas Star Hibiscus". Isn't it gorgeous?

Here are another few "stars" of our garden, not only surviving but thriving in this Texas Summer heat ...

Black Foot Daisies

Firecracker Fern

Echinacea (and spot the bumblebee!)

Lastly, some new arrivals to the garden! Please welcome ...

Pride of Barbados

We hope you enjoyed that little garden visit!

We are still offering our enclosed flower garden and gazebo for wedding ceremonies at a special rate, while our main venue is under construction (so until the end of 2018). If you are interested, or anyone you know may be interested, reach out to us for more information. You can also visit our Garden Wedding Ceremony Special webpage.

Looking forward to seeing you next week,

Marilyn & Bill

Aw, this was an extremely nice post. Taking a few
minutes and actual effort to produce a very good article… but what
can I say… I put things off a lot and don't seem to get anything done.
