Open House Reveal part 1

Open House Reveal part 1

We start this week by thanking everyone who participated in our Open House this Sunday, and helped make it happen! Thank you to all our wonderful wedding vendors, and a huge THANK YOU to Kimberley Bentley, from Silver Thistle Weddings and Events, who coordinated the whole event. What a beautiful and inspiring day she envisioned and then created for The Cedars Ranch's first Open House!

Here’s Kimberley (on the left) with our super supportive Bridal Extravaganza / Austin Wedding Guide representative, Amber Groce, enjoying the day.

Now let’s take a tour of our Open House ...

Come by our welcome area, pick up a site map and get a glimpse of the beautiful plans for our venue. You all know our "welcome area" as the maintenance and garden shed!! It was radically upgraded to a chic welcome lounge and wine tasting bar (Casa Vindemia), with a large architectural renderings display of our future wedding venue campus (HA Architecture), complete with dramatic up-lighting (ILD Lighting).

As you can imagine, some guests found it hard to believe that this is actually just our maintenance shed, usually housing our tools and tractor!!

Next we move to one of our outdoor wedding ceremony sites. Can you believe it? It’s our new garden and gazebo totally transformed into a gorgeous garden wedding ceremony site. Thanks to Wow Factor Floral for their beautiful floral displays.

Here’s Taylor Green from Herbs and Harmony, with friend and wedding photographer Alice Rabbit, showcasing their services in our garden gazebo. They had some delicious and luxurious vegetarian treats to share with our guests ...

Moving on to our future plaza area, our guests loved Austin Selfie Booth: a modern variation on the traditional photo booth, with your images linking directly to any of your social media channels. "Smile!"

We have so much more to share with you! Check back in next week for more of our Open House antics!!

Thank you Billy Orr, for some of these great photos!

Until next week,

Bill and Marilyn

I was curious if you ever considered changing the page layout of your blog?

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could
connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having
1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
