This past Sunday we threw a party for our friends and family celebrating the "soft" opening of our venue! We both feel so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful support on our journey here with The Cedars Ranch, and we felt it was time to share our new space with those we love. We had family fly in from as far away as Canada and Massachusetts, as well as friends and family join us from Austin, Houston and right here from the Texas Hill Country.
While the so-called "Arctic Blast" swung by to lower temperatures to very uncharacteristic near freezing levels, it didn't stop us from having a super fun time!
Our guests were greeted by the festive cheer of Mariachi Amor. They definitely got the party started!
Thanks to Verdes Catering and Hill Country Events & Staffing for catering and staffing our event. A big thanks also to Kimberley Bentley, Silver Thistle Weddings & Events for pulling our event together! Here are some candid shots taken by Bill’s daughter Alyssa Duty, professional photographer with Duty Free Studios ...
As the evening drew in, the dancing shoes came out! It was time to truly break in that gorgeous new wooden dance floor once and for all ...
Meanwhile over in the event bar, people are striking all kinds of wild and wonderful poses in The Traveling Photo Booth!

We feel so thoroughly celebrated and honored by all of you who came and sent greetings.
Onwards we go!
Until next week,
Marilyn & Bill
