Whitewashing & Moonflowers

Whitewashing & Moonflowers

While the rain has been a welcome visitor here in the Texas Hill Country, it has slightly delayed our efforts in moving forward with our yurt. Luckily the past few days have been dry and sunny, and we've jumped at the opportunity to keep unloading our crates and whitewashing our yurt rafters and lattice frames!

Here we are opening those tricky shipment crates ...

We laid out the lattice structures that will form the walls of the yurt. This is 1 of the 2 side walls ...

Here's Bill and Paige whitewashing the lattice ...

Meanwhile, in the garden ...

We discovered that sweet potatoes make these sweet flowers ...

Here are some of our Moonflowers basking in the full moon last week ...

Until next week,

Marilyn & Bill

Woah! I'm really digging the template/theme of this blog.

It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's challenging to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and visual appeal.

I must say you've done a superb job with this. Additionally, the blog
loads extremely fast for me on Chrome. Exceptional Blog!
