Garden Makeover Time!

Garden Makeover Time!

What a busy 2 weeks here at The Cedars Ranch! The Southern Exposure permaculture team have been hard at work, transforming our garden and adjacent landscape!

You all know our garden by now, as we often feature it here in our blog. Well, it’s in the process of getting a HUGE makeover! Since the garden is going to be a feature in our future wedding venue landscaping, it needed a significant upgrade. (Those cinder blocks just weren't ever going to look pretty!). We also wanted our new garden space to align with our overall values of being as “green” and sustainable as possible, so we are delighted to be working with Kirby Fry and his Southern Exposure permaculture team, who are helping us create a healthy and thriving garden in balance with nature.

Our new clear blank slate …

We are excited about the plans for our new garden. Here's a sneak peek below of our own cedar logs cleaned and ready for use in the making of the gazebo! (Yes we’re going to have a gazebo!!)

Until next week,

Bill & Marilyn.
