Work on our maintenance and garden shed continues this week. The 12 foot walls are framed, and the first section of the ridge beam has just been installed. Here's Tony and Matt, from Southern Exposure setting the rafters.
We're loving some of the comments from the Southern Exposure crew on social media, about working at The Cedars ...
"Our crew which includes Paige, Tony, Matt, and I have been getting to install SO much good design at The Cedars Ranch in Wimberley, Texas. It's such an honor to have a hand in shaping the grounds of this up and coming wedding venue, which has a theme of modern / sustainable.” - Kirby Fry, Southern Exposure
“This is such a fun, engaging project.” - Paige Dunlap, Southern Exposure
Meanwhile, in the garden, 1 of our 4 curved raised beds has just been completed! We can't wait to fill it with flowers!
Here's the outline for the next curved raised bed ...
All our freshly new planted trees and vegetables have been enjoying the rain over the past week or so. Our berms have been flourishing ...
... and our kale is looking very appetizing!
It seems we're not the only ones enjoying the garden this week! Our little fairy friends started their own little container garden, conveniently located outside their front door. Otherwise, they have been mainly indoors this week working on their house, due to the rainy weather!
Signing off with a Cedars Ranch view of that big ole super moon!
Until next week,
Bill & Marilyn.
