Raised Beds, Roofing, Siding, Framing!

Raised Beds, Roofing, Siding, Framing!

It's been another busy construction week at The Cedars Ranch. Let's go on a tour and show you our latest updates!

Our first stop is the garden. Our stonemasons are making a lot of progress with our stone pathways and raised garden beds. Check out the progress so far in this short video ...

Our beautiful new raised garden beds will be ready for planting soon.

Garden & Maintenance Shed

Just across from the garden is our garden and maintenance shed. In this photo below, you can see the roof base almost completed.

Here, the roof is complete and the siding is ready. Doesn't it look great? (You can see some of our newly planted orchards behind, too).

Shed Shack / Event Bar

Had you forgotten about the shed shack? Within eyeshot of the garden, you can see our red metal shed shack, which will be our venue event bar and groom's lounge. Well, the roof of the future bar is now framed, as you can see from this photo below ...

... and the frame is up in the groom's lounge.

Fairy Living

We'll finish our tour by one of our favorite big trees, close to our porch. This is the site of some mysterious activities the past few weeks. If you've been following our recent blogposts, you'll know that The Cedars Ranch gained a new tiny resident(s). This week we noticed that the fairies installed a rain barrel outside their front door, attached to a downspout. Impressive! We're happy to see that they share our eco-friendly values!

We also came across these little animal footprints close to the new fairy home. Perhaps the fairies are recruiting some local animal assistance in their eco-home expansion? We just don’t know! It's all just speculation right now!

Well, we hope you enjoyed the tour!

Come back next week,

Bill & Marilyn.
