Presenting ... The Cedars Ranch!

Presenting ... The Cedars Ranch!

This Sunday was our big Bridal Extravaganza day! This was our first time exhibiting The Cedars Ranch at a public event. We had a blast!

The set up began on Friday, in the Austin Convention Center. Here’s our empty booth space … It's about to get busy!

Here we are mid process ... We laid down one of our rugs that will probably end up in the Event Bar, and we started to put together our beautiful wood wall that our architect Jamie designed for us, and our builders built for us! (And yes, those are wedding cakes you see at our neighboring booth ... very distracting!)

Here we are hanging our Cedars Ranch images on our new display wall. We wanted visitors to our booth to get a real “feel” for our wedding venue. Even though it is not constructed yet, we helped create that feel and vision through images of our land, architectural renderings of the venue, a site map, as well as including these gorgeous large wind chimes that we’ll have at the ceremony site.

Did we have fun in the process? Yes we did!! Here’s Marilyn and Brenda boogieing on down to some pre-bridal show tunes for all those hard working wedding vendors! (click on the image to see some Cedars Ranch dance moves!!)

The Cedars Ranch booth is complete! Marilyn, Bill and Brenda are ready to meet some brides!!

Hundreds of brides attended the event. Refreshingly, it was not just brides, but a lot of couples too. We made some great connections, and received a lot of very positive feedback. People LOVE that it’s a modern style wedding venue, which offers something a little different from some of the other more traditional style wedding venues in the Hill Country. We got a lot of compliments about our beautiful venue images and architecture. Couples connected very much with the fact that we are "green", and were really attracted to some of our wellness offerings such as the suggestion of doing yoga the morning of the wedding on our yoga platform.

As our opening date of New Year’s Eve 2017 is still a little far away for a lot of couples right now, we did get a lot of interest, with some couples even considering changing their wedding date so they could get married at The Cedars!! So we're pretty happy about that!

Overall, it was a very positive experience. We look forward to the continuing journey that we are all on with this beautiful gift that is The Cedars Ranch! Thanks for being part of this excellent adventure!

Until next week,

Bill & Marilyn

Greetings! I know this is kinda off topic but I was
wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I'm getting tired of Wordpress because I've had issues with hackers and I'm
looking at options for another platform. I would
be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
Is it very hard to set up your own blog?
I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
I'm thinking about making my own but I'm not sure where to start.
Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Appreciate it
