Our Glamorous Life!

Our Glamorous Life!

This week the septic specialist was out on the land, testing to see where on the site we can put the new septic system! I know, I know, probably not the most glamorous subject, but we’re excited! This is the next step in moving towards our first foundation being constructed, and our shed shack (future event bar) being moved to its permanent location. The proposed site for the septic system ended up being in an area we had already delegated for green, lush land. So we are happy with that! We're expecting the design for the septic system soon. Here’s some photos from the septic hole tests …

Speaking of our glamorous life these days, did it ever cross your minds how one would do their laundry while living in an RV?? Well Bill and I are striving to do our best for the planet … Check us out using our new mini "washing machine", that works without electricity, and minimal use of water!

A beautiful benefit of living on the land is the bounty of fresh vegetables we get to harvest and enjoy. This week we had an early harvest of corn, which were super delicious. Look how cute this watermelon is? (Am I the only one who thinks it's cute??)

Some of the managers from our construction team (Mangum Builders) were out visiting the land too, this week. Their sign is now out at the front of the property! We’re officially under construction, y’all!

Enjoy your week (glamorous or otherwise!)

Bill & Marilyn.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog?

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the
way of content so people could connect with it better.

Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures.

Maybe you could space it out better?

I'm truly enjoying the design and layout of your website.
It's a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for
me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your
theme? Exceptional work!
