With working outside lately to prepare for our yurt (more about that next week!), plus all the excitement of the solar eclipse, we've been focusing on the outdoors this week, and the beauty and wonder therein!
In particular, this week a facebook friend nominated me for a Nature Photo Challenge - to post a photo of nature on my facebook page every day for 7 days. I duly accepted! Will you?
Nature Photo Challenge Day 1:
Loving the variety of butterflies in the garden ...
Nature Photo Challenge Day 2:
Purple flowers reaching up to the sky ...
Nature Photo Challenge Day 3:
An early morning shot of the moon nestled between a couple of our trees ...
Nature Photo Challenge Day 4:
A rich abundance of Juniper (Cedar) berries ...
Nature Photo Challenge Day 5:
Enjoying our little hummingbird visitor this morning ...
Nature Photo Challenge Day 6:
A surprise flower I found in the woods while we were clearing for our yurt! Friends tell me it's called "Mountain Pink" ...
Nature Photo Challenge Day 7:
Being from Canada I still find cactus just growing on my land super cool ...
Now you are invited to take up the Nature Photo Challenge!
It's super fun and is a beautiful way to connect to nature, and then share that beauty with others you know. Here's the deal:
- Take a photo of nature every day for 7 days
- Post your daily photo on your facebook page or instagram wall
- If you wish, tag @thecedarsranch on your nature photo post so we can see it too!!
- Invite friends to join in the challenge!
Looking forward to seeing all your photos. Have fun getting outdoors and exploring the beauty that surrounds us!
Until next week,
Marilyn and Bill.
