Irish Family at The Cedars Ranch

Irish Family at The Cedars Ranch

Recently we had the good fortune to be visited by our Irish family! Brenda Ryan, our Operations and Sustainability Manager (aka our right-hand woman) is from Ireland, and her parents, even though a continent away, have been supporting us every step of the way since the beginning. It has meant so much to Bill and I to receive their many comments on our social media posts, or private messages of encouragement and friendship along the way.

So what a delight it was for everyone, that they traveled to the States to visit their daughter, and The Cedars Ranch too!

Here's Brenda's parents, Donal and Joan, viewing our site map ...

It was such a joy to walk the property with them. They both said they felt like they knew it already, between reading our blogposts and hearing all about it from their daughter Brenda.

They were happy to find shade from that intense Texan sun here in our garden gazebo ...

Here's our Irish gal Brenda with her mom Joan and husband Brian ...

Brenda's husband Brian Leonard is a professional drone pilot with Cinema Pilots, and was eager to take some aerial footage of the ranch during the visit. Here's Brian operating the drone, with Donal (to the left) and our daughter Alyssa, son Billy, and son-in-law Cody (to the right). Stay tuned for drone footage in a future blogpost!

A big Thank You to our Irish visitors! Thanks for sharing this journey with us, and we look forward to many more visits in future!

Until next week,

Marilyn and Bill.
