As promised, here's our latest aerial video of The Cedars Ranch showing our construction and landscaping progress so far.
Our maintenance and garden shed looks so good! We think it definitely makes our tractors look sexy!
What a difference a year makes! This view from the air really shows us how far we've come. We started last year with the total deconstruction of the existing buildings on the land. Now there is barely any sign that they ever existed! We then relocated the shed shack, to fit into our future wedding campus area. You can also see our renovated garden from the sky, complete with beautiful new stone walls, pathways, raised beds and gazebo. Our new berms and swales with planted orchards are looking great too.
Bring on a whole new year of construction in 2017!! What will the aerial footage look like this time next year?
Well, it’s a fresh start for everyone this 2017! Least of all, for our Cedars fairies! Look, they’ve jumped ahead of us and started their construction early! They've installed some flashy new fairy windows. We're presuming they are double-glazed for maximum energy efficiency (!).
The cold weather and low winter sun here in the Texas Hill Country makes for magical mornings and atmospheric light beams! Thanks Billy Orr, for this photograph.
Speaking of that cold weather, here's Paige removing covers on our trees to protect them from some near freezing temperatures.
Lastly, we here at The Cedars Ranch have a big and exciting weekend coming up! We are exhibiting our wedding venue at Austin's biggest bridal show, "Bridal Extravaganza", this Saturday and Sunday! Come by and visit us! Also, keep an eye out for the latest photos on our social media!
If you are interested in going, reach out to us and we can get you a free ticket!
Have a great week,
Bill & Marilyn.
