Double Celebration!

Double Celebration!

Great news! Borrowed & Blue, a popular national go-to wedding planning website, has just published our style shoot, entitled "Rustic Wine-Hued Romance Styled Shoot’s Wedding". Here's the link to check it out: https://www.borrowedandblue.com/us/weddings/rustic-wine-hued-romance-styled-shoot

Not only that, they loved it so much that, in their words:

"We have selected this gem as the creme de la creme ... For starters, Rustic Wine-Hued Romance Styled Shoot’s wedding will be featured front and center on our US home page, in our Weekly Weddingpress, shared on our social media channels, and last but not least, displayed at the top of our US weddings search results page. Basically, you're crushing it." - Borrowed and Blue

Our second celebratory piece of news? We bought a yurt!!

We are super excited! It is going to be our new home here at The Cedars Ranch. Fingers crossed we will have it up and living in it within the next few months. If you are not fully sure what a yurt is, here are some photos of the super versatile round tent structures from the Colorado Yurt Company website:

The fact that it is a quick construction, made with eco-friendly materials, and provides sufficient yet still modest space, is ideal for us. At 30' diameter, our new durable and sturdy round tent home will be a roomy 708 sq ft, in comparison to our RV! Here's some images for what the inside of a larger yurt like ours may look like:

We spent the weekend getting the yurt site ready. It was like playing “pick up sticks”, but without the marbles!! It left us exhausted, but full of anticipation!

Until next week,

Marilyn and Bill.
