A week from now things are going to look very different at The Cedars!
This past week the electrician, in consultation with Pedernales Electric Co-Operative, disconnected the power to the house (very partially finished) and the carport. They have set up a temporary pole for use during the construction phase.
Starting February 9th the house and the carport will be thoughtfully deconstructed. We are happy to work with a contractor that will focus on making as much as possible re-useable sending very little to landfill. So grateful that these options are available to us here and that there are companies with the foresight and dedication to work this way.
To give you some more visuals, since this is intended to be a photo blog, here are some “before” pictures for you.
In addition to deconstruction we will be having lots of cleaning up done.
We are so grateful for this beautiful piece of land and that we get to be caretakers to it.
We can’t wait to see what The Cedars will look like in a week and can’t wait to show you!
Have a wonderful week!
