Dance Hall Reveal & Beautiful Butterflies!

Dance Hall Reveal & Beautiful Butterflies!

We’ve got another exciting reveal for you this week!! Our local architects, HA Architecture have been working on producing a rendering for the inside of our dance hall. Here’s Jamie mid creative process …

Here is the newest dance hall design …

We love seeing these spaces come to life! The dance hall will be the largest building in our wedding venue campus / event center, at 3614 sq ft. It will have a gorgeous wooden dance floor, with high airy ceilings, all made with natural materials. As you can see, it will be a beautifully fluid space between the indoor and outdoor environments. So while you are enjoying this modern light-filled internal space, you will also feel immersed in the outdoor natural environment around you.

As a reminder, here’s the initial designs from ACRE Architects for the outside of the dance hall. The space will comfortably seat 200 guests. The steep pitched roof will accommodate south-facing solar panels, enough to generate clean renewable energy for the entire campus. The merging of both beautiful and sustainable design!

Meanwhile the butterflies have been flocking to our garden and orchards this week. Our gardener Paige has been having fun capturing photos of them, for you all to see!

Before we go, another quick reminder about our “Events Questionnaire”. We’re still gathering ideas from everyone regarding speakers, programs and events they’d like to see and attend at The Cedars Ranch. Thanks to everyone so far for all your answers and ideas. Keep it coming! You can either fill out our short online questionnaire here, or drop us a quick email or facebook message.

Until next week,

Marilyn & Bill.
