A Garden Visit

A Garden Visit

Take a little break today and come visit our garden here at The Cedars Ranch!

Bill's son Billy Orr, professional photographer living close by in Austin, visited recently and had some fun taking photos in the garden. We've been enjoying spending time in our flourishing organic garden, making sure it's ready to host small wedding ceremonies in the coming months. Visit our "Wedding Special" webpage for our current garden wedding ceremony offer.

Aren't these poppies gorgeous? You can peek our garden gazebo in the background here too.

Meanwhile, Bill (aka "the butterfly whisperer"!) has also been capturing some beautiful shots in the garden. Here's a group of black swallowtail caterpillars munching on our plants!

Love this majestic shot of two fritillary butterflies silhouetted against a moody Texan sky...

Here's an American lady butterfly enjoying our flower garden raised beds ...

Can you see the hummingbird moth on our Texan wisteria?

Well we hope you enjoyed that short garden visit!

Until next week,

Marilyn & Bill

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.

There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She
never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
